I know it seems like I've dropped off the face of the planet, but I'm still here! I've just been overwhelmed, that's all.
Updates updates - some work outfits, a house tour, and some food porn. Too lazy to type cos my brain isn't functioning properly at the moment.
I've mentioned that I'm currently staying in a serviced apartment, provided by the company for 3 months. Let's just say I'm enjoying it very much - daily room service, living above a shopping mall and 5 minutes away from the office is pretty darn awesome. Of course, it helps that the pad is nice and comfy :)
Living and dining area

I've got a minibar!

Spacious kitchen

Bedroom - LOOOVE the bed! The plush king sized bed is just right for tiny little me, hahaha.

Bathroom

Handiwork of a VERY meticulous housekeeper, lol.

Some work outfits - I'm more inclined to dress up for work over here because many people are really dressed to the nines for work, and the fact that I don't have to walk enables me to strut around in killer heels.
Pleated blouse: Kitschen
Pencil skirt: MangoPeeptoe slingbacks: Easy Spirit. These are one of my recent acquisitions - I've finally given in to comfort over style and decided to opt for a pair of heels I can actually WALK in (for a few hours, and then my feet swell and start to hurt) :D
Quilted hobo: Bally
Tank top: Gap
Oversized v-neck silk/cotton sweater: Zara
Slim straight cotton pants: Club Monaco
Braided leather belt: Bangkok
Peeptoe slingbacks: Easy Spirit
Bangles: Bangkok
This next outfit is one of my "genius" combinations. I only wore this because I hadn't done any ironing, and didn't bring any of my necklaces with me. Love this! I'll play around with similar styles soon...
Basic long-sleeved tee: Cotton On
Wool slacks: Club Monaco. Super expensive, but worth every penny
Vintage belt: Gift from mum's friend
Silk scarf: gift from a friend
Peeptoe slingbacks: Easy SpiritOn to the food! I'm too lazy to cook here because it's hard to shop for groceries for just one person, and the fact that cheap meals are in abundance.
Frozen meal from the supermarket, which are surprisingly tasty. Japanese pork curry with rice - they use Japanese rice!

The serving size is on the small side, but sufficient for me

Droolworthy dessert from the Mandarin Oriental Bake Shop. Beautiful packaging, beautiful presentation, and oh sooo yummy.
Thick, high-quality paper bag

Beautiful paper box in which the dessert is stored

Orange envol - Creme brulee, orange jelly, and fruit jelly topped with chocolate mousse and sponge cake chunks. MMMMMM!

That's all for now. I will try to update more diligently, now that I've KIND OF settled down. TGIF tomorrow!!!
